The Pro-Hunter GMT Master II

A new industry, meant for extremely close circles and only particular customers, is the business of Pro-Hunter. “Watch tuning” is part of their business, as the Rolex cage proves it. They have now released a new timepiece, the GMT II. Designed by Kamal Choraria, this watch has a reputable past.

It was first made for Tom Ford’s chain stores, a few years ago, under the name of Tom Ford Pro-Hunter. Thing is, the previously named director and fashion designer requested a golden Rolex. In spite of this, he seriously liked the idea, and the project got abandoned, because Tom’s lawyers decided that the project was too new and didn’t show profit at that time.

Another reputable name, Magnus Thorud, enjoyed the later design of the timepiece, and finally asked for one in August 2011. This project, the Pro-Hunter GMT Master II comprises a personally engraved back case, marked from 001 to 100, diamond-like carbon coating, the Pro-Hunter golden font, and bright gold markers on top of a black dial.

If you would like to be the happy possessor of a piece like this, get on JamesList and order one for £14,950,

Arman 90 metre superyacht: Dune project

With the intention of creating a one-piece-like superyacht, the ex-BMW-designer Arman Fissette has just announced his latest work-of-art. The Arman Dune 90 is a vessel that combines simplicity with a terribly bold design, inspired from stealth frigates, and with the human-love for sea-cruising.

It is totally built for exploration, cruising and relaxation, bringing them all together. There is a lot of space on the ship reserved especially for adventure vehicles. There are three large tenders, four off-road vehicles, berths for a submarine, an amphibious aircraft, six wave-runners and a helicopter hangar.

All these come alongside the 10 guest cabins and the owner’s cabin. The total crew comprises 28 persons, and the 90-meter-long yacht can accommodate 22 guests. The upper deck has a platform with a built-in glass wall, called “the visor”, which overviews the swimming pool on the lower-deck. Everything on the yacht looks like it’s made for it, from the modern decorations to every square-inch of paint.

Though we do not yet exactly know its value, it surely looks like a vessel destined to explore.

Art of Kinetik Hedonist Luxury Yacht

The Hedonist is an outstanding luxury yacht built by Art of Kinetik which features an incredible exterior design, modern interior and impressive levels of performance. The yacht is 63 foot long and it could take its guests to a top speed of 40 knots.

The yacht builders best describe the Hedonist as embodying the very soul of Art of Kinetik with its jaw dropping exterior design, impeccable workmanship and the finest materials used in the boat’s interior. Two Rolls Royce waterjets and the latest technologically advanced navigational system make this yacht a state of the art jewel on water.

The Art of Kinetik Hedonist could hold a maximum of 12 people on board so it’s ideal for a small, relaxing journey on the sea. Only 2-3 people can sleep in the yacht’s elegant and sophisticated bedroom but that might be just enough for it’s potential owner.

The contemporary exterior design is continued in the boat’s interior where everything is really stylish and as impressive as the boat’s exterior.

2700 HP AMG Cigarette Racing Boat by Dimitris M.

MIAMI — Mercedes-Benz and Cigarette Racing teamed up to reveal an AMG-inspired custom racing boat at the 2010 Miami International Boat Show late last week. In a unique display of automotive and boating prowess, the 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG was the first car ever to be shown at the boat show as it took its place alongside the all-new AMG 46-foot Rider on the Cigarette show stand.

Marketing partners for three years, Cigarette and Mercedes AMG both serve a common audience, according to Cigarette CEO Skip Braver. “We view Cigarette as much a luxury brand, as we do a marine brand,” said Braver, who bought the company in 2002.

AMG and Cigarette started working on the new boat two years ago, Cigarette’s Chief Marketing Officer Scott Preacher told Inside Line. “We were really inspired by the 563-horsepower lightweight aluminum SLS AMG,” said Preacher. “It encouraged us to push the boundaries of technology.” Preacher said more than 100 innovations can be found in the AMG Cigarette boat, including a redesigned bottom and a focus on cutting weight.

Not only is the AMG-inspired racing boat light, it’s also superfast, compliments of two twin-turbocharged 552-cubic-inch, 1,350-horsepower Mercury Racing engines for a whopping total of 2,700 hp. Although the boat has not yet been in the water, its speed is expected to exceed a hair-whipping 130 mph.

But Preacher insists that while “horsepower is the driving force, it’s really about the complete package.”

The new Cigarette 46-foot Rider features hand-applied AMG Alubem silver paint, the same color offered on the gullwing SLS AMG. This process, used exclusively by AMG, covers surfaces like a metallic skin to highlight the body’s stunning lines. Designo Mystic White metallic paint is also used to stripe the boat’s exterior.

Inside, the boat features marine-grade upholstery that resembles the two-tone AMG Designo porcelain and white napa leather found in the SLS AMG.

At the close of the Miami boat show, the AMG Cigarette boat moves to a display in Palm Beach, Florida, followed by additional U.S. locations before it heads to Genoa, Italy, where it will be on display at one of the largest boat shows in Europe. It will then move to the Middle East and Asia later this year.

Preacher said Cigarette talked to four interested buyers this weekend, but said that the AMG boat is intended to serve as “our technology showcase,” and that the inspired-by-AMG Cigarette will not be for sale until its worldwide tour ends. Preacher added that the all-new 46-foot Rider on which the boat is based is currently priced starting at $900,000, and takes four months to build to custom specifications.

The 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG will be available this May. Pricing has not been officially announced, but is expected to be just under $200,000.

Gulfstream G650

With all its coverage in the pop culture scene, I thought I’d take a look at the Gulfstream G650. First off, the Gulfstream company is the what’s-what’s of private jetting. They been in the business for a long time now and they sure know who to build these planes in style. The Gulfstream G650 is the Rolls Royce, due to the fact that they build the engines, of the great blue yonder. From the exterior and its great lines and silhouette to the luxurious interior with all the amenities that one could ever want. It’s rated as a ultra-high speed business jet, and why not, with its cruising speed of nearly mach 1. This jet will get you from one place to another PDQ and in style. The price tag is also in the stratosphere so this isn’t recommended for the casual weekend jet-setter. But if you have a heavy check book and the means, I would definitely hit the green light.
