Bang & Olufsen, world leader in high end audiovisual components, has teamed with another world class Danish brand on a new superyacht.
B&O has outfitted Skagen’s Danish Yachts’ new 121-ft. AeroCruiser 38 II, dubbed Shooting Star, with a range of custom-made audio and video products.
The yacht features a luxurious and typically Scandinavian influenced interior to complement her amazing entertainment systems, including a private cinema.
With a carbon fiber hull and a pair of powerful 4,750 hp diesel MTU engines, the vessel offers a top speed above 45 knots.Famed Norwegian naval architect Espen Oeino created her sleek exterior lines, dominated by large windows.
The installation includes the BeoVision 10 slim and elegant LCD TV, BeoVision 7 cutting-edge LCD TV with digital surround sound, a state-of-the-art BeoVision 4 plasma TV, a BeoCenter 2 distinct-oval shaped CD and DVD player in brushed aluminium, and BeoLab 3 loudspeakers with patented acoustic lens technology.
Shooting Star has won two awards at the 2011 World Yacht Trophy in Cannes, and is priced at about $26 million. Source: JamesList
